It’s been a crazy 15 months, but with the Coronavirus slowly moving behind us, there is a cautious feeling of optimism that things are slowly starting to get back to normal. This is especially true at Greeley Avenue Bar & Grill, where the less restrictive Cover-19 containment measures announced on May 27th mean some new changes.
With all the pro sports leagues resuming regular schedules, Greeley Avenue once again feels and looks like an actual sports bar! They’ve got all the big sports networks on tap, so you can catch the Boys of Summer with DirectTV’s MLB Extra Innings package, as well as your favorite local and regional sports on Comcast. If you have a group of friends who wish to watch a particular game, let the Greeley staff know and they will do their best to get it on the Big Screen for you.
Effective immediately, Greeley’s hours of operation have been extended to 12 midnight, seven nights a week. So there’s no need to guzzle your drink after the last big game of the night. Cheers to that!
Coming soon is Last Call Trivia, which will make its weekly debut on Wednesday, June 30th. If you are familiar with Last Call Trivia, take note that a few changes will be in store to ensure safer play. More about Last Call Trivia in our next blog post.
Poker is also in the cards, with Mad Poker slated to resume in early July. So you will want to be practicing your poker face.
Greeley has made other changes to enhance your dining and drinking pleasure too. If you venture out to the back patio, you will notice a newly expanded seating area, with new tables and umbrellas to protect you from the coming summer sun. Misters have also been installed to provide additional relief from the hot sun. In the covered seating area, a second widescreen tv has been added, so you won’t miss a minute of sports action.
Greeley’s back porch now sports two undercover widescreen tv’s for your viewing enjoyment.
While indoor seating has been expanded to 50% of capacity, safety measure still remain in effect.
Says manager Amber Snow, “Since there is no practical way to tell who is fully protected, we are asking all customers to continue wearing masks when leaving their tables or moving about the bar. Our staff has been fully vaccinated, but we will still be covering up.”
Amber also wants to thank everyone for their on-going support these past several months. “It’s been a challenge to keep the doors open, so we want to thank everyone” she says. “We couldn’t have done it without you.”
