The teams of Oregon and Oregon State have been practicing all year to take each other on during this year’s upcoming “Civil War” football game, and we’ve go all the action at Greeley Avenue Bar & Grill.

Greeley - OR Civil War.jpgAfter a difficult start to the 2016-2017 season, the Ducks are showing improvement on the field. “I think for the most part our run ‘fits’ were better (against ASU),” linebacker coach Don Pellum said. “We still missed some tackles in some situations and we’ve got to continue to work on that, but in terms of run fits and being where we’re supposed to be and proper leverage, those were better.”

The Oregon Beavers also find themselves digging their way out of a recent three game slump. We’ve seen the Beavers’ promising offensive team and their quarterback Marcus McMaryion’s potential, but whether those advantages come through in the upcoming game has yet to be proven.

Friends of Greeley

Whether you are a Duck or Beaver fan you’ll find the best place to watch this anticipated game is at North Portland’s Greeley Avenue Bar & Grill. We predict the bar will be busy that day, with fans equally divided between the two teams. Our kitchen will be cooking up a great tailgating menu and, of course, our rotating taps will full of Oregon’s best beers. Can you ask for a better day than that? Of course not!
