Art by Edward Kersh
Greeley Grindhouse has been showing the best in cult and B movies at Greeley Avenue Bar & Grill for over four years now. Churning out the masterpieces of bad theater with the sharp wit of grindhouse moviegoers who’s biting remarks are as sharp as the fangs of a mangy werewolf.
Each month the Greeley Grindhouse feature is recreated in poster form by two talented artists who share their vision of these classics in beautiful—if somewhat irreverent—art.
Our long-term artist, Edward Kersh, puts his signature style into every image he’s created for our movies. Strong black lines and bold color schemes depict the threads of off-beat humor, gore and destruction that weave through the plots. Adding familiar touches from the movies, his posters are always sought after by fans.

Art by Andy Vanderbilt
Greeley Grindhouse’s newest artist, Andy Vanderbilt, began his sojourn into the Greeley Grindhouse art world with the July premier of our Sharknado marathon and followed it up in August with Shaft in Africa. His modern style puts the subjects up front with bright colors and themes that match the era. We’re looking forward to seeing how far his artistic mind can take these reinterpretations of our beloved classics.
Edward’s and Andy’s posters have become a favorite part of the Greeley Grindhouse experience and at the intermission during each feature presentation host Mac Bell holds a raffle for someone to win that month’s selection. Join us at Greeley Avenue Bar and Grill every month for one of the best in “worst” movies and maybe you’ll be coming home with one of the famous Greeley Grindhouse movie posters! (Dates change so check the Greeley Avenue Facebook page for the next showing.)
